Grandma April took Branson to see The Little Mermaid at Tuachan a couple years ago and new she wanted to take Maycie when she got older. Well this was the year. They went out there and spent the night at her house. They all LOVED the show and we're all excited to go as a family some day.

Our family had talked a lot about going to see the air show but didn't want to pay $35/person so we figured we'd go watch from the fields. Then Saturday morning AJ got us a pair from a friend at work. So Grandma April, the kids, and I all went out there. We were there for about 3 hours and it was really cool. Luckily it was overcast or we wold have sweat to death. Pretty cool seeing them so close though!

Our friends the Horrocks' have invited us up to their family's cabin for years, we finally went! It was so much fun. We left Monday morning about 10:00 and came home Wednesday about 2:00. We rode 4 wheelers, threw rocks in the lake, ping pong, played games, ate yummy food, watched movies, Nintendo, sandbox, etc. There was a sandbox and the dog Sunny outside and entertained the kids for hours. There wasn't much fighting so that was good. We all think the age gaps are just perfect to get along with. Kids were beat by the end. :-)
The boys' room has needed an update for a while. Jerik was still in his crib turned into a toddler bed. I was holding off on doing it because it's a lot of stress for me to get it just right, I knew it would be a ton of work, and of course cost money. AJ said bunk beds came in at Costco. I started thinking a lot about the room and looking around. We started the project. I wanted to make the room 3 tone paint. So The ceilings, doors, and baseboards were painted white. The walls were all painted gray. I love love the room. I think it turned out so cute. It's so much brighter in there! The only little tiny thing is that the dresser paint turned out a little too orange. I was hoping for more red. But it's all good for now. One day I might paint over it.

AJ and I decided at 6:30 pm one night that we should have a family camp out in the back yard. one of the best ideas ever! We played games and went to bed.
We've been going to the Library for the summer activities. this week Maycie got picked to go up and help the scientist. They used a Styrofoam head she named Jerik as a model. The head melted and the kids were laughing so hard!
Jerik's dental cleaning. So sweet!
Maycie was catching her bee friends when for some reason one stung her finger. She was sad on the couch so Jerik went to snuggle with her.
Boat craft from Home Depot at the Library.
Dressing up at the Children's museum with Klaira and Joelle.
One Saturday AJ took off so we went out for some fun. This was our stop at the Brigham Young Home.
St. George city pool. Too cute!
**Side story about Maycie** I was doing her hair and she said, "Mom do ants have birthday parties?" I said "of course they do!" She said, "Do you think they are in bushes or where?" I told her they have them in all different places just like we do. Then she said, "Well I'm never messing up on of those parties if I see one. And I won't step on them. Especially the one with a birthday hat!" I am in love with this girl!!
