Jerik learned at about 20 months old to crawl out of his crib. We were NOT ready to have him in a toddler bed. I was determined to get him to sleep in there. I would take him in there about 10 times each night. I finally had to start getting mad at him and telling him that I will take his doggie or water away if he came out. Funny thing is that he NEVER has crawled out of his bed when AJ has put him in there, just me! Good thing he respects his Dad more that me. :) I always go check on him when he's quiet to make sure he's ok. This one picture is SO cute of him on Branson's bed. He crawled up there and fell right to sleep. The next picture is of him asleep in the corner between the nightstand and wall. It scared me so bad. I walked in there and couldn't find him anywhere. How uncomfortable! I am happy to say that after about 2 months, he's doing so much better. He's happy to go to bed now and stays in it until he falls to sleep. Sometimes he'll talk and play or read a book for 30 minutes before he falls asleep. Every once in a while he'll wake up in the night and crawl out of his crib and come run in our bed. He's such a sweet little boomy loomy!

As we all know, Branson is obsessed with soccer. If I want him to listen to me and not be distracted, I have to hide the soccer ball. He can't go get his dirty clothes unless he dribbles a soccer ball there. He can't walk into my room unless he kicks a soccer ball down the hallway to the front door really hard. Love it! The walls in our house might not love it. ;) This group of boys are awesome! We love watching him games each week and are sad when the season is over. Good job Branson for playing really hard and always doing your best.
Branson's program at school was SO cute. The songs they sang were adorable. They all did the actions and said their parts perfect. My favorite song is, "I've decided. To do what's right. It doesn't matter if it's day or night, because I've decided...... if they don't like it that's the way it goes....to drinking and drugs I say no! To violence and crime I say no way!" I wanted to cry like a little baby the entire time. Love these sweet little kids!

Today was Maycie's preschool field trip. She was SUPER excited and actually got ready by 8:15. A BIG first for this girl. :) We went to Brick Oven Pizza. They are the best! The kids love getting to make their very own pizza. They gave us a tour, let us make pizzas, and hooked us up with root beer and yummy fresh baked cookies! As you can see, the cookies were as big as the kids' heads. They all had lots of fun. Unfortunately we were missing Isaac because he was having emergency surgery on his finger. :(

I have to document this very exciting day for Branson before I forget, and so he can remember it forever. His top front tooth has been loose off and on for about 4 months. We were at his soccer game that had just ended. They won 2-1 and he was super excited. The treat was rice crispy treats. He bit into it and said ouch. I looked over and saw it had some blood around it and was kind of sticking out. I grabbed it and pullrf it out. He was SO excited to say the least. All of his teammates were there and his couch. Everyone was cheering and giving him high-fives. It was so cute to see him lit up. You can just read it all over his face.

I think Easter is Branson's favorite holiday. He just LOVES the Easter Egg hunts! Saturday morning we went to the Coral Canyon Easter egg hunt. It was so much better than previous years. More eggs, more spread out, and different age groups. We came home from that and colored eggs before AJ went to work. Grandma April picked the kids up for swimming with Brayden and Kayla at 12:30. Jerik woke up at 1:30 and we joined them. It was SUPER fun! At 4:30 we went to Grandma April's for dinner and another Easter egg hunt. Sunday morning the Easter bunny had come. We were mean and didn't let turn on the lights or even go in the living room until the other 2 woke up. Maycie woke up about 20 minutes after him. But Jerik didn't wake up for about 1 hour and 15 minutes after Branson. We're cruel! :) Anyway we found eggs and hurried off to church. At 3:00 in the afternoon we headed to Enterprise for dinner at Darryl and Karen's house. They also did an Easter egg hunt. The kids also ran around their many acres and rode 4-wheelers. Branson said he thinks they have the funnest house in the world. This year was fun to see Jerik figure the whole thing out. At first he just wanted to find an egg, sit down and eat it, then move on. He quickly learned he's got to hurry.
