When AJ and I were talking about vacations the end of last year, we knew we wanted to do something for spring break. Since driving so far with three little ones isn't easy, we figured Vegas would be our best bet! My cousin Camille got us a good rate at a Marriott which made the trip even better. We went shopping at our favorite outdoor mall, and of course we went to Ross. We wanted to make shopping fun for the kids so we made them a deal. Each store that we went into that they were good (no running around, no fighting, no complaining) they would get a quarter. They could use that quarter to ride one of the toys or for a candy machine. It was AMAZING. They were so good which made it even more fun for AJ and I. We checked into our hotel and jumped on the beds. We walk around - too far for everyone! Branson even tried to grab us a "newspaper" from one of the stands along side the road. We ordered dinner to our room and went to bed. The next day we went to the Silverton Casino to look at the fish in the huge aquarium. Then went to The Mirage to see the lions and dolphins. A week before the trip, we were having dinner with some of our favorite people, The Horrocks', and told them we were going to Vegas. They were planning on going the same time so we decided to meet up with them. They came down for just Tuesday. So after they finished their adventures we met with them and walked along the strip for a while. We went to the M&M factory and ate dinner at The Rainforest Cafe. Then we all went back to our hotel and had some delicious Ben & Jerry ice cream. Our kids play SO good together. I think the age difference is just perfect. No one is competing for attention or anything. Anyway, lots of fun and glad to be home.

Branson started soccer for the first time on March 3, 2012. He was really nervous because he didn't want all the Moms and Dads to watch him. But after the game he said, "I love that and want to play that everyday." He has always really liked playing soccer anywhere and with anyone. I knew he'd love it. He was shy at first the got right in there. He seriously is awesome!!! I keep saying, "It doesn't matter who wins, it is just for fun." But I have to keep track that we have won the first two games. Anyway, here are some pictures of the fun times!! PS I was told that they couldn't wear cleats so he is wearing old shoes with no grip. Poor thing. We'll have them for next game.
