So we made the mistake two Christmases ago of buying Branson the next size up on bikes. We figured the smaller one would just be a waste of money. He was so high off the ground it kind of made him nervous. So my Mom bought him the smaller one this last Christmas and he rides it all over like crazy. We wanted him to take the training wheels off but he was really nervous. And he said he didn't want to go slow. We convinced him to try after Disneyland. So 10 minutes after pulling into the driveway, AJ took the training wheels off. He said, "Just ride around with your feet on the ground while I unload the car." Then Branson yelled, "Look Dad." He was off riding by himself. I just knew he was ready!!!

We had planned a trip to Disneyland for this coming summer, but since we'll be having a baby, we decided to move our trip earlier. It will probably be our last trip for a LONG time. My Dad & April even came with us this time. My kids had a lot of fun having them there. Grandma is a DL die hard like us. We drove straight to the beach. The kids were in heaven running around. They wanted us to bury them in the sand even though it was freezing. The next day was California Adventure. One major probably was that after waiting in line for 45 minutes with a big plan, we realized we didn't have Branson's ticket. We have no idea where it went but they looked us up and replaced it. Day two was at Disneyland. We were first in line and ran. We were able to do 6 rides the first 55 minutes of opening. SO FUN!! Day 3 was spent morning at Disneyland then we headed to Ariel's Grotto for a yummy (paid for) dinner. Grandma and Grandpa went home the next morning but we stayed for a little more fun. Our kids really wanted to swim at our hotel so we left a couple hours early to go swim. After swimming AJ went down to the 3rd floor for some yummy pizza for dinner. It was great trip and we all had a lot of fun.
